Hello! My name is Rukayat and I am a compassionate and experienced home carer. With many years of experience in the field, I have had the opportunity to care for individuals with various care needs. I am experienced in providing care for those with poor or declining mobility, individuals who are bedbound, and those who are living with dementia (including Alzheimer's and vascular dementia). I also have experience in supporting individuals with anxiety and depression.
I am fully qualified to provide live-in, hourly, and overnight care. Although I do not currently have a car, I am able to drive and have a clean driver's license. I am dedicated to ensuring the comfort and well-being of my clients and have a range of skills to assist them in their daily lives. Some of my skills include providing assistance with eating and drinking, medication reminders, administrative tasks, as well as maintaining a clean and tidy home by managing cleaning and laundry duties.
When I'm not caring for others, you can often find me engaging in activities that bring me joy. I have a deep love for walking and dancing, as well as cooking. I also enjoy challenging my mind with puzzles and find peace and relaxation through practising yoga.
In addition to my love for caring for people, I also have a soft spot for animals. I am particularly fond of cats, fish, rabbits, and birds. Their presence can bring so much joy and companionship to the lives of those I care for.
My attributes as a home carer include being caring, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand. I find great joy in helping people lead independent lives to the best of their abilities.
